About the position

We are seeking a skilled photographer to capture the special moments of a baptism ceremony for a goddaughter at a Greek Orthodox Church in Arlington, Virginia. The event is scheduled for November 3rd and will last approximately 45 minutes, followed by a small reception. The photographer will be responsible for documenting the ceremony and the gathering of around 25 attendees.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photographs during the baptism ceremony.
• Document the reception following the ceremony.
• Ensure all important moments are captured in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event photography, particularly religious ceremonies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
• Strong communication skills to interact with guests and family members.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Greek Orthodox ceremonies.
• Portfolio showcasing previous baptism or religious event photography.
