About the position
ProCare Therapy is looking for a motivated and certified School Psychologist to join their team in Wilmette, IL. This full-time position focuses on making a positive impact by supporting students with their behavior intervention plans in a collaborative school environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' learning and emotional needs.
- Develop and implement interventions and strategies to support students' academic and emotional development.
- Provide individual and group counseling to address mental health and behavioral issues.
- Work with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive educational environments and address student needs.
Requirements
- Masters or doctoral degree in school psychology or a related field.
- State certification or licensure as a school psychologist, which may include passing a national exam.
- Completion of supervised internship or practicum in a school setting.
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and collaboration, as well as a deep understanding of child development and educational practices.
