About the position

The SEER Product Specialist and Senior Cost Analyst at Galorath will provide comprehensive program, acquisition, and financial support, focusing on cost estimating and program management for various projects. This role involves developing cost estimates, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with government cost estimating procedures, while also creating strategic reports and managing information requests.

Responsibilities

  • Provide SEER-SEM product support and cost estimating support for a portfolio of programs across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle.
  • Support the preparation of program cost analysis requirements documents and evaluations.
  • Conduct historical data cost analysis, market surveys, economic analyses, and Total Ownership Cost analyses.
  • Analyze contractors' SEER-SEM cost data and estimates, ensuring consistency with government accepted procedures.
  • Develop and modify program Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and verify compliance with requirements.
  • Apply program management and systems engineering experience to develop solutions for customer challenges.
  • Create strategic briefings and reports summarizing technical and programmatic issues and financial constraints.
  • Manage information requests and inquiries through completion.
  • Perform research and analysis to provide recommendations and potential courses of action.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, computer science, or a comparable STEM degree.
  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience supporting federal government programs.
  • Minimum of 10 years proficiency with cost model SEER-SEM, MS Office, PRICE & SMC/Industry standard models.
  • Proficient with ACEIT and able to evaluate requirements and generate CERs.
  • Proficient with PowerPoint for generating presentation artifacts.
  • Proficient with Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in complex information technologies, simulations, models, operations, and research tools.
  • Ability to advise decision makers on significant cost-related issues.
  • Strong analytical, assertive, creative, and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and resolve complex issues.
