About the position

The SEER-SEM Product Specialist and Senior Cost Analyst at Galorath Federal is responsible for providing comprehensive program, acquisition, and financial support. This role involves executing integrated program management across various phases of the acquisition lifecycle, including cost estimating and analysis for federal government programs. The position requires collaboration with contractors and the development of strategic briefings and reports to address technical and programmatic issues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide SEER-SEM product support and cost estimating support for a portfolio of programs.
  • Develop cost estimates across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle, including software cost estimating.
  • Prepare program cost analysis requirements documents and evaluate historical data cost analysis.
  • Conduct market surveys, economic analyses, and Total Ownership Cost analyses.
  • Support the development and modification of program Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Apply program management and systems engineering experience to develop solutions for customer challenges.
  • Develop strategic briefings and reports summarizing technical and programmatic issues, financial constraints, and accomplishments.
  • Manage information requests, inquiries, and tasks through completion.
  • Perform research and analysis to summarize relevant issues and provide recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, computer science, or a comparable STEM degree.
  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience supporting federal government programs.
  • Minimum of 10 years proficiency with cost model SEER-SEM, MS Office, PRICE & SMC/Industry standard models.
  • Proficient with ACEIT and able to evaluate requirements and generate CERs.
  • Proficient with PowerPoint for generating presentation artifacts.
  • Proficient with Excel, including formulas and VLOOKUP for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in complex information technologies, simulations, models, operations, and research tools.
  • Ability to advise decision makers on significant cost-related issues.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple assignments.
  • Strong analytical, assertive, creative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to work independently to resolve complex issues.
  • Experience in supporting government cost estimation and acquisition programs.
