About the position

Entegra Procurement Services is a dynamic division of Sodexo, specializing in procurement management, culinary services, and data analytics for multi-unit clients across various industries, including healthcare, education, and hospitality. The Segment Financial Analyst II will play a crucial role in supporting our largest client by engaging in projects that focus on data consolidation, analysis, and variance research. This position requires a strong emphasis on accuracy and compliance with internal controls and financial regulations. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with stakeholders from different functions to ensure data accuracy and alignment, while also promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the organization. The responsibilities of the Segment Financial Analyst II include assisting with ongoing accounts receivable issues and distributor projects, driving escalations to leadership when necessary, and collaborating with other departments to identify and implement process improvements. The role demands a driven self-starter who can adapt quickly to changing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will also be expected to manage multiple projects efficiently, set priorities, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of customer service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Support projects related to data consolidation, data analysis, variance analysis, and research, with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Assist with ongoing AR issues and Distributor projects.
  • Work with stakeholders from various functions (IS&T, MDM, Supply Management, etc.) to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
  • Collaborate with other departments on process improvements.
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
  • Drive escalations as needed to leadership.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills and efficient time management with the ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities.
  • Driven self-starter with the ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently.
  • Ability to work with large data sets and databases, analyze data, and conduct research.
  • Comfortable learning new systems and working with multiple sources of data.
  • Sound judgment, strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to devise strategies from appropriate data.
  • Strong technical skills (Office 365, Relational databases, etc.). High proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Power BI experience a plus.
  • Flexible, pragmatic, and able to handle complex research with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written, interpersonal, and communication skills with a commitment to a high level of customer service.
  • High attention to detail, comfort with ambiguity, and an ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated flexibility with shifting priorities and the capability to modify processes due to the changing demands of a rapidly growing business.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines is critical.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Power BI is a plus.
