About the position
The Assistant Property Manager at Glacier West Self Storage is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the storage facility, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing various administrative tasks. This role requires a motivated individual with strong technical and interpersonal skills to assist customers, handle payments, and maintain the property effectively.
Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day operations of the facility.
- Provide excellent customer service experience.
- Answer calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform daily site checks.
- Assist customers seeking storage units.
- Collect and process payments.
- Contact delinquent occupants.
- Perform daily and weekly reports, marketing, surveys, inventory, cleaning, and maintenance.
- Conduct property inspections.
- Act as the primary point of contact for contractor and vendor work on site.
Requirements
- 4 years of customer service experience.
- 2 years of self-storage experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Light cleaning and maintenance experience.
- Ability to work independently without onsite supervision.
Nice-to-haves
- Self-storage management experience is a significant plus.
