About the position

The Property Manager - Self Storage at Prestige Storage is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the self-storage facility in Fort Worth, TX. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service, managing rental agreements, and ensuring the property is well-maintained and appealing to customers. The position requires a commitment to achieving performance goals and fostering a positive work environment that values teamwork and employee contributions.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and sales experiences to all potential and current customers in person and over the phone.
• Focus on increasing Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to continually meet property goals.
• Guide new customers through rental processes and agreements.
• Handle cash and balance receipts, pursue collections, post payments, and process daily bank deposits with integrity.
• Help keep customers current with payment and make collections calls when required.
• Perform daily cleaning duties, responsible for property cleanliness, curb appeal, and overall property integrity.
• Conduct daily storage unit inspections; confirm inventory availability and ensure spaces are ready to rent.
• Perform independently on a day-to-day basis with a focus on teamwork and partnership with District Manager and other properties in the area.
• Perform light property maintenance (i.e. changing hasps, changing light bulbs, etc).
• Open and close the facility as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a sales or customer service environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and must be 18 years of age.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

• Preferred experience in Retail Sales/Customer Service, Hospitality, Casual Dining, or Service Industry.
