About the position

The Selling General Manager at The Creative Mobility Group is a pivotal role responsible for driving sales and managing store operations to enhance the quality of life for physically challenged individuals. This position requires a sales-minded leader who integrates sales into all store functions while ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies. The role involves overseeing various aspects of the business, including consumer and commercial sales, service operations, and rental operations, while also managing team performance and fostering a positive work culture.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of store operations, including consumer sales, commercial sales, service operations, and rental operations.
  • Support overall company initiatives and communicate consistent messaging to store staff.
  • Report store performance through select KPIs.
  • Identify market opportunities and leverage corporate support for local marketing.
  • Partner with HR to hire and retain qualified candidates for store staffing plans.
  • Manage team performance and effectively coach and mentor the team.
  • Maintain standards for customer treatment to foster complete customer satisfaction.
  • Support a training culture through participation in company training initiatives.
  • Supervise and promote the sale of all company products and services.
  • Actively generate personal leads and sales volume to meet gross profit expectations.
  • Manage incoming leads to ensure prospective customers are recorded and qualified.
  • Accurately forecast unit sales and gross profit levels.
  • Collaborate with company leadership to review the GM Scorecard and identify focus areas.
  • Maintain and manage vehicle inventory in conjunction with the Inventory team.
  • Oversee install and service department to ensure optimal technician efficiency.
  • Promote employee engagement through leadership skills in support of core values.
  • Adhere to all company policies, OSHA regulations, and state mandated regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2-3 years experience in sales management.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience are required.
  • Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision is required.
  • Valid driver license and clean DMV record is required.
  • Proficient computer skills with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Background or experience in the Automotive, Power Sports, or Equipment Dealership setting is a plus.
