About the position

At BAE Systems, we are seeking a Semiconductor Process Technician to join our team. The role requires full-time onsite work at a BAE Systems facility, emphasizing the importance of in-person collaboration due to the nature of the work. As a Semiconductor Process Technician, you will be responsible for processing production lots in the Wafer Fabrication Area. This includes performing a variety of routine duties with minimal supervision, ensuring that all equipment is ready and qualified for production. You will be expected to track production lots using PROMIS and maintain a hazard-free work environment by adhering to ESH rules and regulations. Effective communication, both verbal and written, is essential as you will collaborate with other employees to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities

  • Process production lots per FCS through specified process steps in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that equipment is ready and qualified for production.
  • Perform necessary calibration and test runs before committing equipment to production lots.
  • Track production lots in PROMIS or/and in other records.
  • Follow ESH rules and regulations; maintain a hazard-free work environment; follow Clean Room Practice.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with other employees.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Typically a High School Diploma and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience.
