Akima Systems Engineering (ASE) is seeking a Senior Academic Data Analyst who will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on moderately large datasets. This position is integral to the Department of Defense (DoD) as it involves coordinating with branch chiefs to identify, collect, evaluate, and accredit academic courseware. In this role, the Senior Academic Data Analyst will be responsible for performing data collection and analysis aimed at academic program evaluation, accreditation, and student learning assessment. The analyst will prepare detailed reports, synthesize large amounts of information, and write summaries that effectively communicate findings. Evaluating program standards will also be a key responsibility, which includes designing and developing data collection methods, coordinating program activities, and reporting on data analysis results. Additionally, the analyst will develop surveys and learning assessments using various techniques to facilitate data collection and analysis, ultimately improving student learning outcomes. This includes performing student learning assessments, identifying student learning outcomes, and using the results to make informed recommendations for program and course improvements. The role also involves supporting the Program Branch Chief in coordinating and facilitating college credit recommendations and accreditation processes through comprehensive academic program analysis and evaluation. Furthermore, the analyst will integrate program courseware and materials into the Learning Management System (LMS) and conduct academic research to enhance curriculum, student satisfaction, and enrollment and graduation rates.
