About the position

Coviance is a leading provider of innovative SaaS technology solutions for the banking and credit union industry. Our cutting-edge products empower financial institutions to drive efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and achieve strategic business goals. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our sales team. The Account Executive will play a key role in selling our SaaS technology solutions into the banking and credit union space. This is a hunting role that requires self-sourcing leads, running full demos, negotiating proposals, managing the contracts process, and ensuring a smooth handoff post-sale. This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Self-source leads through various channels, including industry events, referrals, networking, and targeted outreach.
  • Conduct full product demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and value proposition of our SaaS solutions to potential clients.
  • Work closely with prospects to understand their needs, customize proposals, and negotiate terms to secure deals.
  • Manage the contracts process from initial discussions to final agreement, ensuring all parties are aligned and contracts are executed efficiently.
  • Collaborate with onboarding and relationship managers to ensure a smooth transition and handoff of accounts post-sale.
  • Attend banking industry conventions, participate in virtual and in-person prospecting activities, and engage in strategic networking to build relationships and expand our client base.
  • Utilize cold calling strategies when necessary to reach key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.
  • Conduct high-activity, strategic prospecting efforts to identify and prioritize opportunities for sales growth.
  • Comfortably lead discussions with C-suite executives, including CEOs, CFOs, and COOs, to understand their challenges, present solutions, and close deals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred, not required).
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, particularly in selling SaaS technology solutions into the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of the banking and credit union space, including industry trends, challenges, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel to industry events and client meetings as needed.
  • Comfortable leading discussions with C-suite executives and building strong relationships at all levels of an organization.
