At RingCentral, we are excited to welcome a talented individual to our team as a Senior Account Executive in the Public Sector. This role is pivotal in driving sales within the Florida and Georgia territories, focusing on State & Local Government, Higher Education, and K12 institutions with over 400 employees. As a part of our dynamic sales team, you will leverage your expertise in technology field sales, particularly in greenfield spaces, utilizing remote resources such as engineering, marketing, and business development to achieve your goals. Your primary responsibility will be to partner with regional Value-Added Resellers (VARs) to effectively identify, engage, and deliver new customers. You will own the strategy around the sales funnel, pipeline, and forecasting, taking charge of the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for your designated patch. This position requires demonstrated experience in leading complex sales cycles and negotiating win-win agreements based on value-based selling principles. You will need to possess strong communication proficiency in areas such as PBX, UCaaS, CCaaS, and VoIP to effectively convey our solutions to potential clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in technology solution-based selling, particularly in SaaS, Unified Communications, Cloud applications, and VoIP at an enterprise level. Experience selling to State, Local, Higher Education, and Healthcare verticals is essential, along with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas. You will be skilled in conducting presentations and online web demos, adhering to a measured sales process, and successfully prospecting and acquiring new logos. An entrepreneurial spirit, vibrant attitude, and a willingness to adapt quickly are key traits we are looking for in our next team member. A BS degree and continued training and education are preferred qualifications for this role.
