About the position

The Senior Account Executive at RethinkEd is responsible for expanding the client base in the Mid-Atlantic Region by building partnerships with K-12 districts. This remote position requires a strong background in education and sales, particularly in Special Education and Social Emotional Learning (SEL). The role involves managing the entire sales cycle, prospecting new business, and engaging with senior-level school leadership to promote Rethink's innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect new business opportunities within K-12 districts in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior-level district leaders.
  • Develop and execute effective territory plans to meet sales quotas.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to maintain an accurate sales pipeline and track metrics.
  • Educate and engage customers about Rethink's solutions in creative ways.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in the education field.
  • 4+ years of teaching experience or 5+ years working in the education market, preferably in Special Education, SEL, and Mental Health.
  • Existing K-12 network of senior-level district leaders in the designated territory is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a home office environment and meet weekly and monthly metrics.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, and tech-savvy.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% during peak times.
