About the position

The Senior Account Manager, Programmatic at Google is responsible for managing relationships with clients and optimizing their advertising campaigns. This role involves working closely with advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that enhance business growth and brand visibility. The position requires a strong understanding of online media, analytics, and the ability to strategize effectively to meet client goals.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain relationships with clients and identify new opportunities for clients to increase efficiency and make better use of our products and features to achieve their goals.
  • Build and maintain a knowledge of Display and Video 360. Own the media strategy for customers.
  • Build and maintain knowledge of the Google Marketing Platform and be able to offer feature demos.
  • Serve as programmatic product expert for client and pod, linking display and video tactics to media KPIs.
  • Provide detailed account analysis and ensure that advertisers are satisfied with their performance goals.
  • Serve as a liaison with clients regarding new product and feature launches, capabilities, and advertising opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in online advertising campaign optimization.
  • Experience with analytics, data, and measurement products.
  • Experience working in the automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with online media buying and selling processes and knowledge of DSPs, SSPs, and Ad Exchange.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting both internally and externally.
  • Excellent strategic and investigative sales skills to build client relationships.
