About the position

The Senior Account Manager in PRT Client Services at MetLife is a pivotal role within the US Pensions product team, focusing on delivering exceptional client service for in-force US Pensions business. This position involves managing client service issues from inception to resolution, collaborating with various internal departments, and serving as the primary liaison between clients and internal partners.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to existing Pension Risk Transfer clients.
  • Manage ongoing service requests such as pension deductions, cost-of-living adjustments (COLA), and reporting requirements.
  • Identify potential customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop project plans and monitor resources.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on pension products.
  • Review processes for accuracy and develop plans to correct identified issues.
  • Own client issues from start to finish.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to internal partners in solution development.
  • Communicate issues and solutions to the team and upper management.
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders to improve workflow.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4-10 years related experience in client management.
  • Understanding of annuity products and pension benefits.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen and relationship management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Project management skills, including leading projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and proficient in Office Support Tools.
  • Ability to obtain Life and Health licenses within 6 months of hire.
