About the position

The position at Yellow Shoes involves managing complex marketing projects for Disney Experiences, focusing on creative strategy and client relationship management. The role requires a blend of technical marketing skills and the ability to foster collaboration among internal teams and external clients, ensuring that projects align with client expectations and business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage scope with moderate to large complexity and increased volume with moderate to high level of autonomy.
  • Support process and system improvement opportunities in partnership with Systems & Reporting and Project Management.
  • Understand client needs, ensuring sound strategy and providing solutions to problems.
  • Manage client expectations, project timing, and direction to set the agency up for success.
  • Lead creative strategy based on relevant consumer insights, resulting in clear briefs for creative teams.
  • Partner with Project Management to keep clients updated and engage leadership to maintain momentum toward deliverables.
  • Maintain assignment budgets to ensure work does not exceed approved funds.
  • Collaborate with internal agency peers to develop creative solutions that deliver on the brief and advance business objectives.
  • Fully understand the client's brand and provide thought partnership through knowledge of their business and effective marketing solutions.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal team members, core business partners, and external colleagues.

Requirements

  • 5-7 or more years of professional marketing, ad agency (traditional or in-house), brand management, media, or related experience.
  • Demonstrated specialized depth and breadth of technical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
  • Advanced knowledge of communication mediums including video, print, digital, social, email, radio (digital audio), collateral, OOH, and the production process supporting each.
  • Experience working with external clients and internal agency teams, offering innovative solutions to business situations.
  • Keep current on the pulse of the ad industry and the competitive landscape.
  • Knowledge of brand management and advertising for consumer brands.
  • Knowledge of consumer research tools and methodologies.
  • Spanish or Portuguese language fluency is a plus.
