About the position

The Senior Accountant CPA role is a key position within a growing global headquarters and manufacturing team based in West Chester. This position offers the opportunity to engage in a dynamic work environment while contributing to financial compliance and excellence. The role involves managing financial activities, supporting month-end and year-end processes, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee financial activities, ensuring compliance with sales and use tax laws and regulations
• Support month/year-end close processes, reconcile balance sheets, and generate key financial reports
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards
• Provide expert guidance on tax-related matters and support tax filings and external audits
• Implement and maintain internal controls for financial accuracy and security

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification required
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws (sales & use tax)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and tax preparation software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in providing tax guidance and ensuring regulatory compliance is a plus
• Experience with Thomas Reuters OneSource tax software is a plus
