About the position

The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of a global technology client. This hybrid position requires the candidate to work onsite three days a week in Princeton, New Jersey, and involves managing month-end and quarter-end close processes, providing financial insights, and serving as a strategic partner to various departments. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of handling multiple tasks and navigating ambiguity while contributing to process improvements and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end/quarter-end close, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Serve as a strategic business partner to Sales, R&D, and Product Development, offering financial guidance and recommendations.
• Develop accurate financial forecasts, assess risks and opportunities, and communicate assumptions to management.
• Perform complex financial analysis, create forecasts, and provide insights to improve business performance and KPIs.
• Contribute to process improvements, build reports in BI tools, and assist with ad hoc projects and financial reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive Finance experience with a proven track record of driving results.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex financial data.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite, experience with ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite) and BI tools; familiarity with Hyperion/Smart View is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization.
