Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • Stay current on all new accounting developments relevant to the company, including producing technical memos as appropriate.
  • Coordinate internal and year-end audits.
  • Prepare customized executive-level management financial reports and review reporting prepared by other associates.
  • Present financial reports and provide written analysis, as well as verbal presentations of firm financial information.
  • Proactively identify efficiency/control improvements and propose solutions to relevant parties.
  • Inform and educate other business areas about the financial impact of business decisions and recommend optimal solutions.
  • Participate in and frequently lead cross-functional teams for implementing projects in support of business objectives.
  • Take constructive action with little or no direction from others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Technical accounting research experience.
  • Advanced financial analysis skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of accounting processes and financial statements.
  • Ability to summarize complex financial information and communicate clearly to associates and leadership.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MAcc/MAC, MSA) preferred.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft financials is a plus.
  • IFRS experience is a plus.
