About the position

As a Senior Accountant Project Manager at Siemens Digital Industries Software, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with global revenue recognition standards while providing insightful information to management. You will collaborate with various departments, including finance, IT, and operations, to oversee transactions and processes related to revenue recognition, and assist with revenue analysis and the SAP RAR system.

Responsibilities

• Provide general guidance and oversight on revenue recognition transactions and related processes.
• Collaborate with finance, order administration, IT, and operations teams to review multi-element deals.
• Advise on the corresponding revenue recognition treatment for transactions.
• Assist with revenue analysis and oversight of the SAP RAR system.

Requirements

• Finance/accounting degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a similar accounting role.
• CPA or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and business judgment with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated project management expertise and strategic judgment.
• Knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system is a plus.
