About the position

At Kornit Digital, we are at the forefront of fashion print digital transformation, and we are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our elite team. This role is pivotal in driving strategic financial initiatives and overseeing general accounting practices that are essential for our operational efficiency. As a Senior Accountant, you will lead financial automation efforts and manage cross-functional projects that will significantly influence our financial health and key business decisions. Your expertise will not only shape our accounting practices but also play a critical role in determining the future of our company. In this position, you will ensure the integrity of accounting information by meticulously recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. This includes conducting monthly reconciliations and analyses of balance sheet and income statement accounts, such as accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), intercompany transactions, expenses, fixed assets, and revenue. You will also assist with supporting tax filings for annual income tax, periodic sales and use tax, and other value-added taxes as necessary. A significant part of your role will involve leading the design validation and implementation of financial processes to ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX). You will collaborate with various departments to ensure that all procedures and tasks are completed efficiently to meet tight closing deadlines. Additionally, you will spearhead financial process automation within the Oracle environment, enhancing our operational capabilities and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
  • Conducts monthly reconciliation and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts, including AR, AP, intercompany, expenses, fixed assets, and revenue.
  • Assists with supporting tax filings for annual income tax, periodic sales and use tax, and other added value tax as necessary.
  • Leads financial process design validation and implementation to ensure SOX compliance overall.
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure procedures and tasks are completed to meet tight closing deadlines.
  • Leads financial process automation in the Oracle environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent degree.
  • 7 plus years of related experience; high-tech companies desired.
  • Experience in a Global Company, preferred.
  • Big 4 experience preferred.
  • Advanced credentials such as MBA and CPA, desired.
  • Cross-functional team leadership and project management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset.
  • Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement.
