About the position

The Senior Accountant position within the Individuals/Foundations Group offers a unique opportunity to engage in accounting, tax compliance, and financial management for high net worth clients. This hybrid role involves leveraging accounting expertise and financial analysis skills to support the financial needs of two wealthy families and their associated entities.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and review of general ledgers, including preparation of accounting entries for day-to-day transactions.
• Preparation and review of electronic tax work papers and tax returns for individuals, foundations, and partnerships, including analysis of tax issues.
• Preparation and review of financial analysis such as tax projections, cash flow and liquidity planning, and budgets.
• Preparing and maintaining periodic reports, including personal financial statements for family members, private foundation financial reports, and summaries of property expenses.

Requirements

• 5-7 years' work experience in accounting, preferably in the high net worth area.
• Relevant undergraduate degree required.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
