Responsibilities

  • Provide financial reporting guidance and assistance including month-end close activities.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely submission of monthly financial statements.
  • Verify all monthly journal entries and related schedules are accurately completed.
  • Assist in the preparation of reimbursement projects and reports.
  • Produce statistical reports and schedules reflecting the performance of various hospital entities.
  • Gather and analyze financial information for monthly MOR reporting requirements.
  • Maintain monthly spreadsheets capturing key organizational indicators with 100% accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance from an accredited college or university.
  • 3 to 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Critical thinking and service excellence skills.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
  • Advanced PC skills, particularly in Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, charts/graphs).
  • Ability to perform analysis and provide SMA, Budget, and Medicare Exhibit guidance.
