About the position

A growing Kansas City company is looking for a Senior Accountant to add to their organization. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting duties, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and assisting with financial documentation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and account, bank & intercompany reconciliations
• Prepare monthly Revenue and Balance sheets for manager's review
• Assist the VP Finance with documentation and maintenance of processes and procedures for the Accounting function
• Collect and analyze data about company operational costs
• Manage general ledger
• Conduct bank and account reconciliations
• Develop and analyze cost standards
• Address any other needs as assigned by the manager

Requirements

• 3+ years experience as a Senior Accountant
• Use of accounting software SAGE Intacct is a must
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
