About the position

The Senior Accountant at Presbyterian Senior Living is responsible for providing comprehensive account support related to financial statements, general ledger closing, cash management, and other financial functions. This role involves analyzing and interpreting financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance, contributing to the organization's mission of serving older adults with respect and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and input journal entries for posting to the general ledger.
• Prepare financial statements in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide assistance and ongoing education to team and accounting related functions.
• Prepare general ledger account and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and provide support for the cost report preparation process and related audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field OR at least two years of general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience in working with computerized accounting and other systems.
