This position involves using independent judgement and decision making to assist in fulfilling the reporting requirements of the Houston Healthcare Accounting department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to compiling data to complete required IRS forms for all entities, U.S. Department of Commerce reports, and other reports required by administration and outside agencies. Additional duties include preparation of journal entries, monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, provision of detailed explanation of revenue and expense variances, completion of monthly financial statements, assistance with coordination of annual financial and pension audits, and provision of support for payroll, accounts payable, and general accounting.
