About the position

Beacon Hill Financial is seeking contract and contract-to-hire Senior Accountants to support various clients in the St. Louis area. The role involves preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with policies, and performing reconciliations and analyses of general ledger accounts.

Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual work papers, including reconciliations and analysis of general ledger accounts.
• Ensures financial transactions comply with organizational, federal, and state policies and procedures.
• Reviews disbursement transactions, payroll, and invoices prior to entry into the accounting system.
• Prepares cash/check deposits and related accounting entries.
• Handles preparation of cash disbursements.
• Conducts data entry into the accounting system.
• Prepares financial statements.
• Performs fixed asset reconciliation.

Requirements

• Experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and data entry.
• Ability to prepare financial statements and work papers.

• Experience with compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with financial analysis and reporting.
