About the position

Arrow Staffing is seeking a Senior Accountant for a leading furniture manufacturing company. This role offers an experienced accounting professional the chance to significantly contribute to the financial success of a growing organization, focusing on various aspects of financial management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments for payroll, royalties, commissions, and priority vendors.
• Prepare, analyze, and distribute visualized financial data dashboards on a weekly basis.
• Manage the monthly financial close process, ensuring financial statements are accurately prepared and submitted to the President by the 15th of each month.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust budgets and financial forecasts to align with business objectives.
• Implement and maintain internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyze cost structures to support pricing decisions and improve profitability.
• Monitor and optimize cash flow, ensuring the organization meets financial obligations and maintains liquidity.
• Conduct in-depth financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling.
• Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Knowledge of GAAP principles and application.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and audit procedures.
• Experience with ERP systems or accounting software.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ethics, and integrity.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
