Responsibilities include preparing and overseeing financial reports, supporting audits, collaborating with operating departments to develop accounting procedures, and ensuring compliance with Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) standards and other regulatory requirements. The Senior Accountant plays a key role in financial reconciliation, debt management, and property tax reporting, while contributing to the preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) and supporting external audits.
