About the position

The Senior Accountant at Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial controls, and providing analytical support to management and executives. This role involves preparing journal entries, conducting account analyses, and generating business reports to facilitate informed decision-making and assist in the development of annual business plans.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account analyses and reconciliations.
• Facilitate month-end closing activities.
• Prepare and send business reports to internal users, including management and executive leadership.
• Partner with finance stakeholders to assist in the development of annual business plans.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls.
• Prepare financial reports and ad hoc financial analyses.
• Collect and interpret data for optimal business decisions.
• Review accounting guidance and ensure its proper application for relevant business transactions.
• Draft accounting policy documentation where applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice-to-haves

• CPA certification or working towards it.
• Experience in the beverage or food industry.
• Familiarity with financial reporting standards.
