InteLogix is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to join our organization. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience. The Senior Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist will be responsible for collecting customer accounts, delivering prompt and accurate support to customers, sales representatives, field service representatives, and other company personnel, as well as ensuring the accurate reconciliation of an accounts receivables portfolio comprised of approximately 500-700 accounts. Responsibilities

  • Respond to external and internal customer inquiries via phone and email in a fast-paced, highly complex environment
  • Independently pursue overdue invoices through phone calls, emails, or portals
  • Reconcile intricate accounts independently and assist in resolving customer disputes promptly by liaising with various departments within the company concerning invoices, billings, or cash applications
  • Possess advanced organizational, technical, and communication skills to effectively prioritize and resolve customer issues and facilitate payments
  • Perform daily, monthly, month-end account reconciliations using spreadsheets, specifically the daily cash log
  • Apply payments to customer accounts received via credit cards, collaborating with a centralized cash application team
  • Review and process customer refunds for duplicate payments, over-payments, and payments made to incorrect company entities
  • Generate weekly aging reports and prioritize accounts based on overdue status
  • Review accounts for credit releases and negotiate payment plans
  • Provide training to new team members on daily tasks
  • All other duties/tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 6 months collections experience or 1 year of customer service experience is preferred
  • Ability to remain engaged on the phone throughout the entirety of your shift with minimal to no distractions
  • Possess computer/technology savvy with the ability to smoothly operate multiple windows and tabs, while simultaneously providing Best-In-Class Customer Experience speaking to customers over the phone
  • Ability to interpret constant flow of information
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
