As a Senior Acquisition / Program Management Analyst at American Systems Corporation, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive resources and requirements support across various areas of the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Navy (DON), and United States Marine Corps (USMC). Your primary focus will be on the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, ensuring that all requirements are met effectively and efficiently. You will support the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) Project Officers (POs) and the Acquisition, Validation, and Integration Branch (AVIB) Requirements Officers (ROs) in implementing the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) process, as well as the SECNAV/OPNAV requirements validation process for USMC special programs. In this role, you will assist in the development of requirements and the drafting and routing of requirements documentation. You will also be responsible for proposing security environments for requirements and analysis efforts. Your expertise will be essential in implementing the Defense Acquisition System process for USMC Special Access Programs (SAP), where you will conduct detailed analyses and evaluations of cost, schedule, performance, risk, and other acquisition information provided by program managers. Your responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, editing, and analyzing SAP lifecycle documentation in accordance with established templates and processes. This includes classification determination, initiation, execution plans, and security classification guides. You will provide recommendations to senior leadership regarding staffing and coordination requirements, as well as document and maintain processes to evaluate emerging technologies and visualize dependencies across Naval warfare areas. This will inform Program Objective Memorandum (POM) decisions and document how these processes integrate into the DON POM processes. A typical week will involve assisting in the development and implementation of tracking processes for accounting and management of all SAP lifecycle documentation, ensuring the currency of tracking data, and providing status updates upon request. You will also review Annual Reports to Congress for consistency and alignment with program plans, monitor project timelines, and track document submissions. Your role will require you to identify and resolve issues that may affect project success, assist with research and analysis of alternative courses of action, and provide subject matter continuity and training for new personnel. Additionally, you will support processes to enhance digital connectivity and collaboration with key stakeholders in the Intelligence Community and other defense agencies.
