About the position

The Senior Acquisition Support Analyst will provide comprehensive acquisition support services for the Fixed Wing Branch HC/MC-130 Recapitalization Program at Wright Patterson AFB. This role involves managing data collection, processing, and tracking for various program management activities, as well as assisting in the development of reports and briefings. The analyst will also evaluate organizational structures and manpower requirements, maintain personnel databases, and manage program schedules to ensure effective project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a wide range of acquisition support services based on DoD or AF acquisition experience.
  • Assist with data collection, processing, and tracking for the IPT, branch, and division managers.
  • Consolidate information into draft reports and briefings as required.
  • Recommend solutions for organizational structures and manpower requirements.
  • Assess organizational structure for short-range and long-range functional manning requirements.
  • Perform work measurement studies and workload change impact analyses.
  • Maintain a master list of all personnel/positions in the organization for position awareness.
  • Create and maintain a vacancy/fill database on the SharePoint site for senior functional leadership.
  • Draft documentation to support personnel reassignment or hiring processes.
  • Create and maintain program schedules in MS Project, including critical path analysis.
  • Identify program slips and assess their impact on schedules.
  • Review and edit schedules from various organizations and summarize differences and effects.
  • Assess and analyze schedules, making recommendations to the program manager.
  • Create and maintain the division official calendar in SharePoint for staff meetings and major events.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Active Secret Clearance required.
  • High School Diploma with at least 20 years of directly related experience, including 8 years in the DoD, or a BA/BS degree with 15 years of experience (5 years in the DoD), or a Master's degree with 12 years of experience (5 years in the DoD).
