The role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work with data to inform decision-making processes. In this position, the analyst will be responsible for developing efficient and transparent queries to obtain relevant data with minimal oversight. They will create studies, analyses, and presentation materials to inform decision-makers and ensure that all actuarial work is consistent and of high quality. The analyst is expected to demonstrate eagerness to learn and develop their skills, seeking feedback to advance their career goals. They will also need to understand the goals and objectives of their team and propose changes to existing processes to improve outcomes. The role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, requiring the analyst to be adaptable and responsive to changing priorities. Effective communication with stakeholders is crucial, as the analyst will need to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Building positive relationships and providing responsive service to internal customers will enhance the department's influence and effectiveness. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or closely related field.
  • 2 years experience in an Actuarial role.
  • 4 Exam Components completed.
