About the position

The Individual & Family Plans segment at CVS Health is seeking a driven and high-performance individual to join the Product Performance team. This analytical role focuses on monitoring and evaluating the financial performance of the Individual Exchange business, which has seen significant growth since its launch. The position involves communicating monthly performance metrics to key stakeholders and providing insights on the current and anticipated performance of the IFP line of business. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various business areas to identify performance drivers and establish partnerships, contributing to the ongoing evolution of this new line of business.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate the financial performance of the Individual Exchange business.
• Communicate monthly performance and emerging experience to key stakeholders.
• Provide analytical support for the IFP Product Performance team.
• Gather and review reporting from various business areas to identify areas of interest.
• Determine the drivers of performance results and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Establish close partnerships with other business units.

Requirements

• 5+ years related experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Prior healthcare experience required
• Must have your ASA or FSA
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
• Ability to work with large and detailed data sets; SAS, SQL, etc. a plus
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Solid technical/analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience with creating and maintaining actuarial models

Nice-to-haves

• Associate of the Society of Actuaries
• Prior experience or familiarity with Public Exchanges and/or with CMS risk adjustment models
• Existing experience with Aetna financial data sources (EDW, ADAM, etc.)
