The position requires complex scheduling, which typically involves internal, external, and department-wide meetings. Additionally, the Senior Administrative Assistant will have full responsibility for planning department-wide events and travel arrangements, ensuring that all logistics are handled efficiently. The role also involves preparing and submitting expense accounts, managing and tracking actual expenses versus budget, and developing or upgrading the budget system for the senior management area of responsibility. Regular interaction with internal and external executives, community leaders, and shareholders is expected, along with the ability to initiate follow-up actions as needed. The position calls for moderate to advanced conflict resolution skills and frequent problem-solving with both internal and external staff, utilizing basic change management skills as necessary.
