About the position

The Senior Administrative Coordinator will provide essential administrative support to the Chief of External Affairs at a prominent conservation nonprofit. This role is temporary with the potential for permanent placement, focusing on strong organizational and communication skills to assist senior staff effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the division officer and leadership team.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and manage calendars.
  • Prepare and process expense reports, contracts, and invoices.
  • Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including reserving meeting spaces and distributing agendas.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and materials, and take meeting minutes as necessary.
  • Assist in preparing monthly corporate card expense reports.
  • Prepare presentations for the division officer and leadership team.
  • Provide support for high-profile events at the organization.

Requirements

  • Strong previous administrative experience supporting a senior staff member.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
  • Interest in the environment/conservation is a large plus.
  • Availability to start as soon as possible and open to a hybrid in-office schedule.
