We are currently seeking an Advanced Field Service Engineer who will be responsible for performing maintenance, audits, configuration, programming, installation/commissioning, upgrades, and migration of complex Honeywell control systems, specifically the EXPERION PKS and TPS/TDC300. In this role, you will spend your time validating customer requests, developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, and planning and executing upgrades and migrations, all while ensuring Right and Fast Delivery. This position requires approximately 50% travel to meet with customers and address their needs effectively. Key responsibilities include periodic communication with customers regarding technical and administrative issues, providing customer support on Honeywell Control Systems, and serving as the primary contact for service-related inquiries. You will configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Honeywell hardware and software issues, including Experion PKS and other DCS hardware/software such as LCN and TPS. Additionally, you will be tasked with upgrading Experion software on live control systems without causing interruptions to the customer's industrial processes and migrating legacy Honeywell control systems to new technology offerings. Understanding customer key processes and economic drivers will be essential in translating these into business opportunities, providing timely research and recommendations. You will also assist the sales team during pursuits and represent Honeywell to end-users and competitors, while continuously learning about the end-to-end product and solution development and delivery of Honeywell offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, audits, configuration, programming, installation/commissioning, upgrades, and migration of complex Honeywell control systems (EXPERION PKS, TPS/TDC300).
  • Validate customer requests and develop/maintain/improve customer relationships.
  • Plan and execute upgrades and migrations while ensuring Right and Fast Delivery.
  • Communicate periodically with customers regarding technical and administrative issues.
  • Provide customer support on Honeywell Control Systems and serve as a customer contact for service-related issues/enquiries.
  • Configure, maintain, and solve Honeywell hardware and software issues including Experion PKS and other DCS hardware/software such as LCN and TPS.
  • Upgrade Experion software from one release to another on live control systems without causing interruptions.
  • Migrate legacy Honeywell control systems to Honeywell's new technology offerings.
  • Understand customer key processes and economic drivers to translate them into business opportunities.
  • Assist Sales during sales pursuits and represent Honeywell to end-users and competitors.
  • Learn the end-to-end product/solution development and delivery/execution of Honeywell products and solutions.
  • Use technical expertise of sophisticated Honeywell solutions/product offerings to improve customer experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least one L4 certification on any domain Experion or TPS.
  • 5+ years of experience in field service engineering.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical/Engineering field.
  • Experience with Experion PKS Hardware & Software, in addition to Hiway, TDC, & TPS system experience including LCN, UCN, and Hiway equipment along with PC/Networking experience.
  • 3rd Party controls experience.
  • Project Management experience (budget control, schedules, resource allocation, reporting).
