About the position

The Senior Advanced Java Developer will lead a dynamic team in designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated software solutions. This role requires extensive experience in Java development, AWS cloud services, microservices architecture, and API development, ensuring the delivery of scalable, efficient, and high-quality applications. The position emphasizes collaboration, technical leadership, and continuous improvement within an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust Java-based applications and microservices.
• Architect scalable solutions using AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and DynamoDB.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support internal and external applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Champion Agile methodologies within the team, facilitating sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to performance, scalability, and system integrations.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 8-12 years of progressive experience in Java development, with a deep understanding of Java SE/EE and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
• Extensive expertise in designing and implementing microservices architectures and RESTful APIs.
• Strong proficiency in deploying and managing applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling concepts.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with at least 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).

Nice-to-haves

• AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
