About the position

The Senior Advantage Financial Consultant at CGI is responsible for leading the implementation of SAP S/4HANA in a greenfield environment, focusing on the Public Sector. This role involves working closely with clients to gather requirements, design solutions, configure SAP, and ensure successful software lifecycle completion. The consultant will also mentor team members and enhance client business functionality while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the gathering and validating of requirements for SAP Financials.
• Design, implement, and support SAP Financials, particularly in the Public Sector module.
• Conduct workshops to collect business requirements and translate them into system requirements.
• Act as a liaison with clients for troubleshooting and resolving software issues.
• Design, configure, and test FI, CO, FM, and PS modules in SAP S/4HANA.
• Provide functional expertise and guidance on SAP products to clients during implementation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting-related experience or education, preferably in the public sector.
• 3+ years of experience implementing ERP software, including requirements gathering and analysis.
• 3+ years of experience testing application issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a complex multi-tiered integrated environment.
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and ideas using available resources.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall implementation methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and clients effectively.
• Team-oriented with a focus on knowledge sharing and professionalism.
• Ability to work in a non-conventional environment with a virtual team across time zones.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with SharePoint or similar collaboration tools.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Background in accounting, budgeting, or finance.
