About the position

The Senior Advisor, Employee Experience at Phillips 66 is responsible for designing, developing, and executing the Employee Experience strategy. This role involves consulting with leaders on people strategies to enhance company success, requiring collaboration across corporate and field locations. The advisor will research and develop solutions that align with business goals and improve employee engagement and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Developing employee experience strategies for the enterprise and/or individual business units/locations
  • Translating business strategy into enterprise people solutions that enable a culture of inclusion, high employee engagement and performance excellence
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to leaders to ensure effective delivery of engagement initiatives across all aspects of the employee experience with a focus on belonging and retention
  • Researching, designing, and delivering engagement practices, tools, and resources for all leader levels
  • Providing strategic consultation and diagnostic needs analysis for impactful team effectiveness solutions
  • Supporting leadership teams to design and implement engagement and culture strategies in their teams/organizations
  • Communicating with key stakeholders across all levels of the organization
  • Facilitating workshops and training sessions to improve and promote workplace culture
  • Conducting employee surveys, focus groups, and interviews to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
  • Analyzing data from feedback to develop actionable insights and recommendations
  • Performing enterprise and team level organization and experience diagnostics and recommending interventions
  • Partnering closely with the Organizational Design (OD) team to apply methodology, tools, and approach, as needed, to reach desired business outcomes and in line with the corporate strategy
  • Working in partnership with business units and functions, as well as other team members from communications, project management office (PMO), learning & development, change management, culture, strategy, and HRBPs to develop and implement fit-for-purpose approach, tools and messaging
  • Supporting the management of an organization-wide High Performing Organization (HPO) strategy that facilitates the alignment and integration of people, processes and technology, vision and strategy, leadership and workforce, and business goals and culture
  • Monitoring trends at the industry, national and global levels to continuously improve internal employee experience initiatives

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5 or more years of related experience
  • Proven experience executing employee listening and measurement programs
  • Familiarity with human-centered design principles
  • Advanced oral, facilitation, presentation, and written communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively by tailoring style and messaging to diverse audiences
  • Ability to travel up to 20 %

  • Strong project management, organizational skills and attention to detail as well as demonstrated ability to think big picture (strategic and conceptual thinking skills)
  • Experience with employee feedback tools and platforms
