About the position
The Senior Advisor for Business Transformation at DCSA is responsible for advising the Director on operational improvements and implementing transformation strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the agency. This role involves analyzing complex business systems, overseeing change management initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven solutions and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Advise the Director on potential areas for improvement and document interrelationships.
- Analyze complex business systems to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
- Oversee the agency's change management capability and facilitate workshops to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute transformation strategies that align with agency goals.
- Lead and manage the Business Transformation Office workforce and operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define operational challenges and implement change initiatives.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on transformation progress and outcomes.
- Monitor progress and performance metrics to assess the impact of transformation efforts.
- Conduct assessments of agency high-impact services and identify actions to improve service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) requirements.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Demonstrated experience in systems analysis, strategic planning, or related roles with a track record of leading successful transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills with the ability to present recommendations to an executive audience.
- Familiarity with DCSA's mission and operational activities.

- Experience with systems modeling tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with operational research, data analysis, and business process reengineering.
