About the position

As the Senior Advisor for Healthcare Facilities Operations and Maintenance (O&M) at GoldenWolf, LLC, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Program Manager. This position is designed for a dynamic and detail-oriented individual who is committed to excellence and innovation in the management of military medical facilities worldwide. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and provide recommendations on O&M program guidance, ensuring that the DHA O&M program is effectively managed across all Army, Air Force, and Navy Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs), as well as veterinary clinics and DHA laboratories globally. In this role, you will provide expert guidance and oversight for DHA O&M programs, ensuring seamless integration and standardization across all facilities. You will be responsible for developing and reviewing performance work statements and requirements to ensure robust support to DHA MTFs, standardizing contracts across services. Additionally, you will plan, schedule, and conduct site visits to evaluate and support the O&M program's structure and needs, assisting MTFs in compliance with Defense goals, reducing commodity cost risks, and prioritizing contract initiatives. You will manage a substantial budget of $1.0 billion in Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization activities, analyzing operational trends and providing recommendations to optimize standardization across DHA facilities. Your role will also involve coordinating with various stakeholders, including the Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal agencies, ensuring timely dissemination of information. You will be expected to perform additional duties as assigned and be prepared to travel 10-25% of the time, making this a dynamic and engaging position that requires strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance and oversight for DHA O&M programs, ensuring seamless integration and standardization across all facilities.
  • Develop and review performance work statements and requirements to ensure robust support to DHA MTFs.
  • Plan, schedule, and conduct site visits to evaluate and support the O&M program's structure and needs.
  • Assist MTFs in compliance with Defense goals, reduce commodity cost risks, and prioritize contract initiatives.
  • Manage a $1.0B budget in Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization activities.
  • Analyze operational trends and provide recommendations to optimize standardization across DHA facilities.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including DoD and other federal agencies, and ensure timely dissemination of information.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent experience).
  • 5 years of experience managing healthcare facility maintenance and repairs.
  • 3 years of experience in scoping Medical O&M contracts or similar products.
  • Understanding of Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) and Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DoD administrative policies, military service departments, and program effectiveness evaluation.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Favorable NACI clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications like Certified Healthcare Facility Management (AHA), Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM), or Facility Manager Certificate (FMC).
  • Experience supervising, managing, and leading teams.
  • Familiarity with the US Army Corps of Engineers, General Service Administration, and other Federal Contract agencies.
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission standards, DoD design guidelines, and Unified Facilities Criteria.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools like Smartsheet or Microsoft Project.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
