About the position

The Senior Business Analyst at Valtech serves as a crucial link between business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams, facilitating the development of business capabilities through effective technical solutions. This role involves understanding and articulating goals and objectives, verifying technical requirements, and supporting product owners in analyzing the business domain and prioritizing work based on business value.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, define, and analyze technical and functional requirements.
  • Articulate requirements from both technical and business user perspectives.
  • Communicate effectively with development teams and product owners to analyze technical needs.
  • Analyze requirements to identify system impacts and proactively communicate risks and solutions.
  • Manage requirements traceability and track status throughout projects and sprints.
  • Develop user manuals and conduct user training as needed.
  • Partner with technical teams to understand feasibility of requirements and propose best practice solutions.
  • Analyze end-user functionality requirements for content management and external data providers.
  • Support backlog prioritization by understanding dependencies across requirements and epics.
  • Suggest improvements in internal processes and provide possible solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of test scenarios and testing activities for quality assurance.
  • Ensure smooth transition from project to support with necessary documentation.
  • Document and maintain project-related information for stakeholders.
  • Gather and analyze requirements, ensuring effective documentation of client feedback.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience working with technical teams and solving requirements.
  • Confident approach to technical requirement gathering.
  • Ability to document user stories in JIRA.
  • Experience leading and guiding user flows.
  • Experience with large-scale implementations on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites.
  • Familiarity with digital user experiences on AEM from both end user and content author perspectives.
  • Fluency in modern content management approaches in AEM, including content reuse and digital asset management.
  • Proficiency in content operation processes, including governance and migration.
  • Experience with content and commerce solutions is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions is a plus.
  • Adobe Certified AEM Business Practitioner Expert certification is a plus.
