About the position

The Senior Aerial ISR Aviation Systems Expert is responsible for providing operational and technical expertise in Aerial Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (A-ISR) systems, particularly in the context of the US Army's transition to the High Accuracy Detection and Exploitation System (HADES). This role involves aircraft integration, modernization, and standardization, requiring collaboration with various military and government agencies. The expert will also assist in creating documentation and briefings for senior leadership and will be expected to travel to military units both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and technical expertise in Aerial Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (A-ISR) systems.
• Collaborate with multiple agencies including INSCOM units, Army Staff, and PEO Aviation.
• Assist in aircraft integration, modernization, and standardization efforts.
• Create senior level briefings, information papers, and executive summaries for the General Staff.
• Conduct assistance visits to military units at home station and deployed locations.
• Complete product suspense, which may require occasional overtime work.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
• Operational experience and proven knowledge integrating intelligence collection systems.
• Experience creating senior level briefings, information papers, and executive summaries.
• MA/MS degree and 10 years of experience; BA/BS degree and 15 years of relevant ISR employment experience and 2 years experience on a major command headquarters or DoD staff; or a High School diploma and a minimum of 20 years related military experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Former Aviation Officer/Warrant Officer with prior assignment at the Aviation Battalion level or higher unit.
• Former Military Intelligence Officer/Warrant Officer with prior assignment at the Aviation Battalion level or higher unit.
• Operational experience with Special Electronic Mission Aircraft (SEMA).
