About the position

The Agile Scrum Master (ASM) will play a critical role in guiding and coaching our software development teams to ensure effective adoption and practice of Agile methodologies. You will facilitate the Scrum process, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Your responsibilities will include implementing integration scenarios, streamlining processes, and supporting the company's transition towards SAFe practices.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum Events: Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support the Product Owner: Assist the Product Owner with backlog grooming, user story definition, and prioritization.
• Coach the Team: Provide guidance and support to the team on Agile best practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and values.
• Remove Impediments: Identify and address any obstacles or bottlenecks that hinder the team's progress.
• Promote Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging the team to experiment, learn, and adapt.
• Track Progress: Monitor and report on team performance metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Champion Agile Practices: Advocate for Agile principles and methodologies across the organization, driving Agile transformation efforts.

Requirements

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5 years experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
• Exceptional verbal, analytical and written communication skills - must be comfortable speaking and writing to C-level audiences, as well as technical audiences.
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
