About the position

The Senior AI/ML Engineer position focuses on leveraging advanced AI and machine learning techniques to revolutionize biomedical research and therapy development. The role is critical in developing and deploying AI models that analyze complex biomedical datasets, particularly in drug discovery, using state-of-the-art technologies such as Pytorch, large language models, and MLOps practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI and ML models with a focus on deep learning techniques.
  • Develop and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) for various applications in the biomedical domain.
  • Implement and optimize transformer and diffusion architectures for tasks such as sequence modeling, image analysis, and generative modeling.
  • Lead the integration of MLOps best practices, ensuring scalable and efficient deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of AI models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, bioinformaticians, and domain experts, to translate research requirements into machine learning models.
  • Analyze and interpret complex biomedical datasets, including genomic, proteomic, and clinical data, to generate actionable insights for drug discovery.
  • Apply AI/ML methods to accelerate drug discovery processes, such as target identification, drug screening, and optimization.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML, particularly in the biomedical field, and propose innovative methods to enhance the company's AI capabilities.

Requirements

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Biomedicine, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a strong focus on Pytorch and deep learning.
  • Proven experience with large language models (LLMs), transformer architectures, and diffusion models.
  • Experience with MLOps, including model deployment, CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, and version control.
  • Previous experience working with biomedical datasets (e.g., genomics, proteomics, clinical data) is required and knowledge of drug discovery processes is highly preferred.
