About the position

As a Senior AI Technical Product Manager at Cisco Systems, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our web customer service delivery and ensuring customer engagement. This position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with various teams including Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Support, Sales, Strategy, Customer Experience, Finance, Legal, and Operations. Your primary focus will be on supporting customer success throughout the pre and post-sales processes, ensuring that our AI programs and solutions are delivered in a timely and exceptional manner. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of product management for AI delivery. This includes overseeing the entire product lifecycle from concept and design to production, testing, forecasting, cost management, promotion support, and end-of-life strategies. You will need to understand the design and deployment of AI infrastructure solutions that utilize Ethernet to meet high-performance computing requirements. Collaborating with multi-functional teams, you will assess AI workload requirements and develop tailored infrastructure solutions to meet those needs. Your strategic management skills will be essential as you implement marketing activities that align with our growth objectives, including market share, revenue, profit, and return on investment across various business channels. You will work closely with executives and business line partners to define the problems that need solving with AI, develop product roadmaps, and prioritize solutions effectively. Additionally, you will implement enhanced Ethernet technologies to improve network performance and reliability, ensuring efficient data transfer across the network by understanding Priority Flow Control (PFC) settings. You will also be responsible for developing a comprehensive governance and review cadence with customers and internal partners, ensuring measurable improvements and positive customer impact through regular executive reviews and meetings. Leading customer delivery engagements, you will provide partner support for large-scale solutions and complex issues, leveraging your deep technical expertise to engage effectively with Engineering and other relevant teams to resolve sophisticated problems while maintaining clear communication about the product's use case.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of product management for AI delivery, including concept, design, production, testing, forecasting, cost, promotion support, and end-of-life.
  • Understand the design and deployment of AI infrastructure solutions using Ethernet to support high-performance computing requirements.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand AI workload requirements and develop tailored infrastructure solutions.
  • Manage and implement marketing activities to achieve growth objectives such as market share, revenue, profit, and return on investment.
  • Work with executives and business line partners to define problems to solve with AI and develop product roadmaps and timelines.
  • Implement and manage enhanced Ethernet technologies to improve network performance and reliability.
  • Understand Priority Flow Control (PFC) settings to prioritize critical traffic and ensure efficient data transfer across the network.
  • Optimize network and server configurations for maximum throughput, low-latency communication, and scalability.
  • Develop a governance and review cadence with customers and internal partners to ensure measurable improvements and positive customer impact.
  • Lead customer delivery engagements and provide partner support for large-scale solutions and sophisticated issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in designing, implementing, and managing AI infrastructure solutions.
  • 8+ years' experience as a Product Manager in networking, hardware, software, web, or marketing, AI cloud technologies or products.
  • 5+ years' experience in enhanced Ethernet technologies.
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in a related technical field, preferably in IT, computer science, statistics, data science, or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Product Management experience includes end-to-end knowledge of concept, design, production, testing, forecasting, cost, promotion, support, and end-of-life for Web and AI delivery.
  • Proficiency in enhanced Ethernet technologies and experience with PFC configurations.
  • Solid background in networking protocols, server architecture, and storage systems.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal and relationship skills.
  • Strong track record of building motivated, collaborative, and productive teams, including remote team members.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to function effectively in ambiguous circumstances.
