About the position

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Alliance Manager to enhance technical engagements with partners in the life sciences sector. This role focuses on driving strategic partnerships that leverage NVIDIA's platform for digital biology, collaborating with leaders in academia, startups, and major pharmaceutical companies to tackle significant challenges in the field. The successful candidate will utilize their deep domain expertise to lead complex alliances and ensure NVIDIA's technology solutions are effectively integrated into the life sciences ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical partnerships and alliances across life sciences and biopharma globally.
  • Build and implement strategies to partner in areas of strategic relevance for NVIDIA's life sciences business.
  • Drive complex, multi-faceted, and multi-stakeholder collaborations.
  • Coordinate with NVIDIA global business development and account teams on strategic accounts.
  • Translate partner feedback into actionable strategies for product management and engineering.
  • Develop strategies to drive business growth by maximizing NVIDIA's technology solutions and identifying new opportunities.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, and Applied Research on internal and external projects.
  • Speak at relevant scientific, technical, and industry conferences.
  • Support major go-to-market activities.

Requirements

  • Masters, Ph.D., or equivalent experience in chemistry, biology, genomics, or related field.
  • 8 or more years of experience in biopharma, techbio, or academic research in the life sciences.
  • 4 or more years of experience in strategic leadership and partnerships in the life sciences.
  • Excellent understanding of the critical methodologies of computational drug discovery.
  • Outstanding communication skills with a track record of explaining complex topics to diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well across all functional areas (engineering, sales, marketing, executive).

Nice-to-haves

  • Validated expertise in applying biology collaboratively with machine learning, deep learning, and data science teams in the life sciences.
  • Background in software development and distributed computing.
  • Hands-on experience in scientific computing and/or high-performance computing and software development.
  • Experience with GPU and CUDA programming.
