The Senior Analyst, Accounting and Financial Reporting position is a critical role within the finance team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies. This role involves a comprehensive understanding of financial processes and systems, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders across the organization. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in the preparation of consolidated monthly and quarterly financial statements, including the profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows. Additionally, the position requires managing cash flow movement and rollforward schedules, ensuring that all elimination entries are properly documented and recorded. In this role, the Senior Analyst will support both internal and external financial reporting processes, including the preparation of Form 10-K and 10-Q. The individual will be responsible for optimizing financial reporting systems, such as Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), and will oversee governance for the company's financial chart of accounts. The Senior Analyst will partner with finance and accounting peers to develop a best-in-class financial analytics environment and assist with the internal and external stakeholder review of financial reporting deliverables. Furthermore, the role includes supporting the annual audit and quarterly review activities with external auditors, as well as maintaining process documentation to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations. The Senior Analyst will also be involved in special projects that require analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial systems and processes, such as acquisitions and divestitures.
